We’re looking for a passionate, hands-on Café Manager who thrives in a busy, creative space and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves — especially in the kitchen. Our café is known for its chai, snacks, shisha, and events, and we need someone who can lead the team, keep operations smooth, and most importantly, take full ownership of food prep and kitchen management.

We’re a small, close-knit team that loves to have fun at work, but we also take pride in staying organised and keeping everything in top shape. If you’re reliable, love food, and are confident managing people, stock, and events, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

- Take charge of daily café operations
- Lead and assist with kitchen prep and food service (this is a big part of the role)
- Prepare sandwiches, patties, Indian snacks, and other items as per menu
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards are met
- Create and manage staff rosters
- Provide excellent customer service
- Manage inventory and stock levels - no last-minute shortages
- Coordinate with team for smooth event planning and execution
- Prepare monthly event calendars and liaise with artists and organisers
- Support basic social media content (stories, reels, updates)
- Cocktail/bar knowledge is a big plus
