Facilities Manager

In this exciting and high impact role, you’ll be responsible for the strategic and operational management of WA Cricket’s facilities—ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and sustainably. From overseeing maintenance and compliance to championing sustainability initiatives and managing key service providers, this is a role where no two days are the same.

**How you’ll make an impact**
- Ensure all facilities meet legislative, policy, and audit requirements through proactive inspections and risk management.
- Lead WHS initiatives and emergency preparedness while maintaining a safe, secure environment for all users.
- Oversee asset planning, maintenance, and lifecycle management to ensure functionality, safety, and value.
- Collaborate with key teams to deliver safe, well-managed events and maintain effective emergency procedures.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, contractors, and external partners to support operational excellence.
- Implement efficient waste systems and drive initiatives to reduce environmental impact and improve recycling.
- Manage procurement, compliance, and performance of service providers to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Champion energy, water, and waste efficiency projects aligned with WA Cricket’s sustainability goals.
- Manage budgets, drive cost-efficiencies, and contribute to strategic planning for facilities operations.

**A great fit for this role looks like**
- Technical qualifications and/or experience for any of the major building services including air conditioning, lifts, and electrical is desirable
- WA Construction Industry White Card (Work Safely in the Construction Industry)
- Extensive experience in managing complex facilities, preferably within sport, entertainment, or public venues
- Strong knowledge of asset management and contractor compliance requirements
- Excellent time and work management skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Experience in budget management, capital planning, and sustainability programs
- Excellent problem solving and fault finding skills
- High level knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety practices
- Flexibility to be available out of normal working hours, where required, throughout the year
