Overview:
**Full Time, 12 Months Fixed Term - Brisbane**

Reporting to the Manager, Quality Assurance (Customer Support & Distribution) the Quality Control Inspector is responsible for performing all tasks related to the quality control processing & inspection of finished products and ensuring all documentation is completed as per all specifications and GDP requirements.

We are looking for someone who has experience within warehousing, shipping or manufacturing and has worked within a quality environment. This is an entry level role for someone who is interested in working in a quality environment and has proven computer skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- As required, inspection and release of returned products and in-process product according to the requirements of applicable Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.
- Record and update relevant information on paperwork and in computer programs.
- Ensure current work practices are reflected in our specifications and report if this is not the case.
- Conducting Quality procedures to ensure product compliance.
- Maintain the stock control of quarantine products including shipping, handling and disposal procedures.
- Redistribute returned products back to the manufacturers.
- Perform any Quality required deviations to assist customer requisitions.
- Assist distribution with shipping and handling procedures.

Qualifications:

- Ability to read and understand documents and instructions written in English is essential.
- Ability to use appropriate inspection equipment is essential.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
- Manufacturing or warehouse experience desirable.
- Previous experience working in a quality system environment desirable.
- Highly organised with a focus on attention to detail, accuracy and ability to multitask.
- Due to the inherent requirements of this role, evidence of vaccinations for relevant vaccine preventable diseases may be required.
