We are looking for Support Workers who are enthusiastic and passionate about providing a caring, compassionate, respectful and high quality service in Aged Care and Disability Support. Our priority is to help our clients living empowered and independently at home and also improving their social lives, making them feel like they belong and are part of society.

**Here is a bit more about your role as a companion care worker**:

- You will be a valued team member helping to provide services to support clients’ individual needs in both their home and community
- All of our clients are based on the Northern Beaches and North Sydney
- **Paid hours (casual) + Kilometres + Super - Attractive hourly rates**:

- **Paid time in between back-to-back clients**:

- **Broken Shift Allowance**:

- Shifts available at all times giving you the opportunity create your own hours
- You MUST have a current driver's license and preferably own car to use on shifts
- You MUST be fully vaccinated for Covid-19

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES as a companion care worker may include**:

- Domestic Assistance
- Meal Preparation
- Medication Assistance
- Respite
- Transport to appointments and shopping, or any other social activity

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS as a companion care worker**:

- Satisfactory Australian National Police check;
- Current or willing to obtain a First Aid and CPR certificate;
- Smart mobile phone;
- Valid Australian Drivers License and car.
- Ability to provide social and domestic care with joy and kindness - Empathy is essential
- A passion for respectfully empowering and caring for people;
- Excellent written and verbal skills as you will have to communicate with clients and our team;
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team;
- High level of time management and organisational ability;
- Willingness to participate in further training and education opportunities.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $1,050.00 - $2,050.00 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dee Why NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence and Car (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
