**About the Opportunity**

**Key aspects of this role include**:

- Management of small to medium sized projects end to end
- Preparation of cost plans and estimates
- Preparation of Bill of Quantities
- Attend and contribute to project design meetings
- Progress claims and variations assessments
- Attend site visits and undertake valuations of work completed on site
- Preparation of monthly Cost Reports and Cashflow Forecast
- Client liaison and participation in client meetings

**What does the right person look like?**
- Tertiary qualification in construction management, quantity surveying, architectural design or civil engineering
- RICS or AIQS accreditation or working towards will be desirable
- Progressive experience gained in an entry level Quantity Surveying position
- Aviation or Residential and Hotels sector experience highly desirable
- Base Salary from $77k to $105k AUD depending on experience
- Proficient skills in a cost estimating tool (desirable CostX)
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of the local construction industry
- Good technical knowledge with good ability to interpret and understand building plans
- Strong analytical skillset with an aptitude for critical thinking
- Solid organisational and planning skills partnered with the ability to meet deadlines
- Good verbal and written communication skills with solid internal and external stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently as required
- Self-motivated with a willingness to engage with feedback, learn and develop
- Current drivers’ license preferred

Pay: $77,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
