What You Will Get To Do:
With a major business expansion planned for 2025—projected to add around 1,200 new employees—the Payroll Analyst will play a key role in strengthening and supporting our payroll infrastructure. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive professional with experience in payroll systems and a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. The Payroll Analyst will work closely with HR and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless payroll operations across multiple locations and employee groups.- Accurately process payrolls using the ADP Managed Service platform, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, awards, and enterprise agreements- Manage high volumes of overtime claims recorded in the HRIS Time & Attendance platform, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant awards and agreements- Process large volumes of leave requests through the HRIS Absence Management system, maintaining accuracy and adherence to policies- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or system issues within HRIS that affect payroll outputs- Analyse payroll reports to validate accuracy and ensure timely completion within the defined fortnightly schedule- Maintain confidentiality of payroll data and deliver high-quality service to employees regarding pay, deductions, and benefits- Develop a strong understanding of SS&C’s payroll processes and internal systems- Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records, including new hires, terminations, pay changes, leave, and benefits, with seamless updates across platforms- Collaborate with HR and Finance to support benefit changes, salary adjustments, bonuses, and equity allocations, ensuring correct job classifications and deduction coding- Provide accurate and timely payroll data to the broader Finance team- Use and report from SS&C’s HRIS, Workday, as required to support payroll operations- Perform additional tasks as needed to support the payroll and HR team

What You Will Bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Business are a plus, but not essential- Good knowledge of payroll legislation, tax and reporting requirements- 2-3 years’ payroll experience, ideally in a growing or multi-site business with 300+ staff- Proficient in payroll systems such as ADP Payforce- Experience interpreting Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements- Familiarity with HRIS (e.g. Workday) and confident using Excel- Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team- Strong attention to detail and well-organised- Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Solid Excel skills: formulas, pivot tables, spreadsheets, linking sheets
