The Assistant Winemaker’s role is to help supervising and implementing the operations of the winery, in connection with vineyards. Ensuring the work is conducted in an efficient and safe manner and is of a higher quality, as directed by the Winemaker and Management.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:
1. Oversee and implement production process of making wine, including grape harvesting, crushing, fermentation, aging, blending and bottling.

2. Operate necessary machines and tools in the winery to complete production and to ensure safety in operation.

3. Monitor laboratory operation with analyzing the wines at different stages.

4. Participate in wine tasting and trials at all stages throughout the winemaking process and be responsible for conducting evaluation of treatments.

5. Support sales activities and provide technical support for sales requirement, including conducting presentation on trade shows.

6. Arrange logistics, bottling and dry good preparation for incoming and outgoing goods.

7. Maintains relevant records and information for the winery and vineyard management.

8. Involve in new winery improvement and relevant set-ups.

9. Alert the winemaking team of any issues regarding the winery facility, quality of wine and WHS.

Job Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in wine-making and exposure in vineyard work.
- Winery experience 3+ years.
- Current forklift and drivers licences.
- Ability to work extended hours during vintage or as required per flexible work schedule.
