**Program Manager eMobility **(B2B Energy Solutions) within our
**Energy Solutions team** will contribute to innovative solutions that reduce carbon emissions, drive cost savings, and accelerate energy performance.

**Melbourne **or
**Sydney**, the
**Product Manager** will be responsible for developing and bringing to market new innovative solutions for business customers. This role will suit a highly motivated and pragmatic self-starter who is passionate about delivering on the future needs of customers. This role will report to the Head of Risk and Commercial Management - B2B Energy Solutions and be required to work with multidisciplinary project teams.

This role needs a highly motivated, hands-on distributed energy professional with particular focus on the ability to develop and deliver complex and commercially viable products. They should understand and be able to dissect the customer journey and experience as well as business operations and processes and be someone who can deliver cross-functional projects and change management.

With honesty, integrity and respect, you will:

- Lead product and solution development by translating customer needs and insights and a deep understanding of new technologies into effective business and deployment models while working across Shell Energy, industry partners, and other external stakeholders;
- Research and monitor existing customer, industry partners, and technical developments to assure continuous alignment of product-market fit;
- Define the product vision and lead evolution of the product to ensure ongoing commercial viability and technical integrity, in line with the needs of Shell’s customers;
- Develop the product roadmap and prioritise product features and capabilities;
- Prioritise and direct the work of a distributed group of analysts responsible for technical and energy economics of prospective projects using internally developed or externally sourced and validated tools as appropriate for product category;
- Be accountable for external partnerships within product category: identify product gaps, originate new partner relationships, lead negotiation of applicable partnership agreements, and manage ongoing partnership contracts necessary for product delivery;
- Engage Shell Energy, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders to generate impactful customer collateral and sales aids supporting product marketing within target customer segments; and
- Manage key stakeholders and ensure alignment around the product vision.

**What you’ll bring**

Here’s what you’ll need to thrive in this role:

- Extensive experience working as a Product Manager or equivalent in related industries.
- Experience in leading the development of innovative new customer focussed concepts and solutions from idea generation, proposition development, completing pilots and trials and commercialisation
- Experience managing a portfolio of new solutions and commercialising or deprioritising solutions based on set performance criteria
- Knowledgeable in distributed energy and/or eMobility technologies is highly desirable.
- Experience in conducting customer research and user testing;
- Preferably experience with hardware and software; and
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
