About the business/team

This role is part of the Business Services Group, Banking department. Business Services Group is responsible for the provision of banking and payments services to Australian Government agencies, the provision of payment settlement services to Australian financial system participants through the Reserve Bank Information and Transfer System (RITS) and the Fast Settlement Service (FSS), the conduct of Exchange Settlement Accounts and the production and issuance of Australian banknotes. Banking Department provides a range of banking services to Australian Government departments. This role will be within Change Delivery team in Banking department who is responsible for uplifting & maintaining banking payment infrastructure.

About the roleAbout you- Experience in Release/Delivery Management within large-scale Agile environments- Proven experience in managing release and deployment processes within complex, secure environments- Proven expertise in Environment and DevOps (Technical Release)- Is able to understand the interconnections and dynamics of complex systems, and to identify the root causes and leverage points for change- Is able to collaborate & communicate with range of stakeholders to gather information & decisions requiring deployments & system changes- Ability to plan, execute, monitor, and evaluate delivery schedule which impacts to multiple delivery teams using common development environments- Understands the software code deployment process and the environments used for development- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery practices- Ability to manage multiple environments and align to changing project needs- Ability to manage risks, dependencies, and shifting priorities across complex programs
