**Product Designer - Sydney Office - Max term contract**

We have a great opportunity for a Product Designer at Domain. In this role you’ll be designing improvements to the core search experience on the Domain apps and website, and helping millions of buyers and renters across Australia find their next home. You’ll be embedded in a scrum team, working closely with a product manager and team of engineers to tackle customer problems.

This position is open for a 7-month contract and will be entirely remote.

**Who are you?**
- Partnering with PMs, engineers & researchers, to oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch
- Contributing to product decisions and helping shape priorities and scope during planning
- Design and prototype solutions that meet customer needs and achieve business outcomes
- Conduct research to build empathy and understanding of our customers and evaluate solutions during the delivery phase of projects
- Working collaboratively within a cross-functional scrum team to ship high-quality product at high velocity, balancing trade-offs and constraints along the way
- Leading or facilitating workshops to foster collaboration and alignment

**Attributes**
- Craftsperson with an ability to create aesthetic interfaces, and experience in Figma and design prototyping tools.
- Problem-solving abilities, empathy and product sense
- Demonstrates a working knowledge on how to contribute through the entire product development cycle (discovery through to delivery)
- Experience designing for iOS and/or Android, with a good grasp of the constraints and design guidelines for native apps
- Outcomes-focussed, familiar with experimentation / measuring success
