**About the role**:
At CES, we have ambitious targets to keep billions of drink containers out of landfill and transform them into resources that can be used again and again.
As Product Designer at CES, you’ll play an integral role in shaping the user experience of our B2B platform.
You’ll be part of our small but dynamic design team, reporting to and partnering closely with the Head of Product to elevate Product and Design Thinking across the organisation.
Your initial focus will be on 1-2 primary product areas undergoing redevelopment in new technology. While the functionality is defined, we have an opportunity to make the User Experience truly excellent - you’ll use your skills to help us simplify and refine, ensuring that we cater for edge cases thoroughly.
We're seeking a rigorous thinker who can leverage insights to craft impactful user experiences for our clients. You’ll advocate for good design, emphasising the importance of usable B2B experiences.
You thrive in a scale-up environment with evolving processes, embrace ambiguity, and naturally share work early, involve others, and lead toward desired outcomes.
Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, and you'll work closely with Developers, Product Managers and other stakeholders, including Clients sometimes, to achieve outstanding product outcomes..
**The key deliverables of the role**:
You will bring clarity and coherence to design choices through effective utilisation of user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes. You’ll be proficient in validating and refining designs through user research and usability testing, and you have a passion for enhancing product quality.
**Other deliverables include**:
Advocate for the prioritisation of changes, refinements, and improvements in the user experience that deliver greater product value.
Ensure consistency across all areas of the product and services by maintaining and updating the design system and documentation.
Elevate product quality by setting a high bar for user experience excellence and producing high-quality work.
Use a full range of Product Design skills to discover, design, and deliver simple, beautifully crafted experiences that customers and users love.
Collaborate across multiple teams and solve complex problems with cross-functional partners.
**Skills and Experiences**:
**About you**:
5+ years’ experience in a UX focused Product Design role.
Proficiency in designing and prototyping using Figma.
Proven track record in conducting user research, analysing results, and presenting findings with recommendations.
Good understanding of UI design principles and techniques
You thrive in an ambiguous environment, smoothly pivoting to meet new requirements.
You have a portfolio showcasing well-crafted, impactful work that solves real problems for real people.
Strong collaboration skills, working openly and leveraging expertise from other functions as well as co-designing with stakeholders (and clients).
Strong visual design and interaction design skills with a passion for high-quality fit and finish.
Experience working with design systems to produce high quality and functional designs that scale.
Practise data-driven and evidence-based design, with the ability to articulate decisions clearly and credibly.
Experience developing B2B user journeys that make complex processes simple and usable.

Experience working in a SaaS company.

Accelerating the transition to a circular economy
We are proud to be an active contributor in the circular economy through container deposit schemes (10c refund for eligible drink containers). We help our scheme partners to recycle close to 10 million drink containers every day, diverting them from landfill into the circular economy.
Our technology and services enable the circular lifecycle of drink containers. We have a large in-house software engineering team using modern technology stacks to develop and support our products. As well as a suite of SaaS products, our range of business services includes accounting, payments, brand & marketing, materials trading, HR, customer service and support.
