**ABOUT THE TEAM**

Our Design and Services team work closely with our project teams whether it be from site, head office or hybrid working from home. Our Building services team’s greatest strength is their ability to adapt and be flexible across multiple projects, providing them the opportunity to work on various sectors of Growthbuilt’s diverse portfolio. Their focus areas include Hydraulic, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering as well as client engagement and external trade specific trades.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Our team is looking for someone who can become a valuable senior resource to the design and services team while also increasing their own skill set in design management. In this space, our services team will also have the opportunity to support our estimators in the tender space.

As a Building Services Manager, you will have opportunity to choose your location of work. Initially, it will be either site or head office (you should see the harbour views) but with the support of our experience Senior Building Services Manager you will be able to work from the comfort of your own home.

The role will be responsible for projects worth between $30 - $80 million, which means you’re going to be working with a lot of different people. If you’re a team player who can adapt to multiple teams and can take ownership of their tasks, then this is the role for you.

Reporting to our Senior Building Services Manager, your day to day might look like:

- Assisting in the establishment, maintenance and monitoring of project quality standards and procedures
- Identify issues with the services design and installation and drive the development and implementation of solutions
- Review subcontractor quality documentation and checklists to ensure compliance with design brief, standards and contract
- Create methodology and staging plans for Critical Infrastructure interfacing, cut-ins
- Create a project specific commissioning plan
- Manage, monitor and control the flow of technical information between the design disciplines and relevant stakeholders
- Carry out Integrated Services Testing
- Facilitate client training and handover

**ABOUT YOU**

**Overall, you'll have**:

- 3-5 years’ experience working for a Tier 2/3 Head Contractor working on Commercial, Residential or Mixed-Use projects
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience having worked independently resolving design issues around services and install
- General knowledge of construction legislation
- General understanding of construction methods, process, and project life cycle
- Excellent attention to detail, time management and organisation skills
