**Front of House - Bar Attendant**

As a Bar Attendant, you are responsible for serving all guests in an attentive and responsive manner.

In this role, you are responsible for making the guests feel welcome at all times and cater to all of the guests’ needs with professionalism and care. This role requires a food service professional who is passionate about customer service and providing genuine hospitality. Overall, they will also assist in all operational aspects of and ensure the smooth running and exceptional customer service of the operation.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Welcoming of members and guests to the restaurants if required
- Preparation and services of cocktails, beer, spirits and wine and non-alcoholic beverages
- Ensuring bar section is kept up to standard and cleaned as required
- Ensure all fridges and sections are stocked accordingly
- Prepare garnishes as needed
- Assist front of house team member as needed when not busy
- Serving of meals/drinks to members and guests through effective and clear communication with back of house team
- Cleaning and polishing of tables, glassware, and cutlery
- Properly and efficiently utilise point of sale software
- To notify the Manager where stocks/supplies are low
- To ensure that all duties are carried out in accordance with statutory Health and Safety requirements, including food hygiene regulations.
- To adhere to all restaurant standards in every interaction with members and guests, colleagues, other members of the team and external suppliers and contacts
- Maintain a neat personal appearance with a high level of personal hygiene

**Requirements**:

- At least 1-2 years’ experience working within the front of house section as a Bar attendant.
- Excellent verbal communication and memorization skills.
- Great interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to 3-plate carry
- Willingness to perform additional duties to facilitate the restaurant's operations, as needed.
- RSA Certificate
- Australian working rights

**Salary**:

- As per Australian Restaurant Industry Award rates ($22-$35 *Negotiable)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term

**Salary**: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
