**About the team**:
Coles Express has recently been acquired by Viva Energy Retail, Australia’s largest single branded convenience and retail network.

Viva Energy Retail is a mobility and convenience division of Viva Energy Australia with a high-quality national network of fuel and convenience stores located in metro, regional and on main transport routes, and provides an advantaged position to serve the on-road and local suburban convenience markets.

**About the role**:
Under the guidance of the Procurement Manager the procurement Lead Negotiator will play a pivotal role in securing value for money outcomes for the Viva Energy Retail Business by supporting the end-to-end strategic procurement process.

You’ll also:

- Deliver outstanding value for money outcomes whilst ensuring that all contracting processes, communications and negotiations are aligned with Viva’s values and policies
- Work with the Category and operational Management team to develop and implement category strategies and undertake significant procurement activities where relevant
- Act as the custodian of contracts, updating and maintaining the Contract database
- Work with internal stakeholders to extract value and ensure compliance to contractual arrangements providing support and expert advice

**About you and your skills**:
You are experienced contract management specialist with working knowledge of strategic sourcing concepts and methodologies.

You’ll also have:

- Strong communication skills with the ability to present to stakeholders at varying levels
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Proven negotiation skills
- Ability to accurately read, interpret, develop and negotiate terms and conditions of contracts
