**About the team**:
Coles Express has recently been acquired by Viva Energy Retail, Australia’s largest single branded convenience and retail network.

Viva Energy Retail is a mobility and convenience division of Viva Energy Australia with a high-quality national network of fuel and convenience stores located in metro, regional and on main transport routes, and provides an advantaged position to serve the on-road and local suburban convenience markets.

**About the role**:
Working closely with the GM Strategy & Business Development, the Procurement Manager will play a pivotal role in the development of the Viva Retail purchasing strategy and be responsible for its execution.

You’ll also:

- Be responsible for the securing of value for money outcomes for the Viva Energy Retail Business by overseeing the end to end strategic procurement process
- Provide support, guidance and development opportunities to the Contracts and Procurement team
- Deliver outstanding value for money outcomes whilst ensuring that all contracting processes, communications and negotiations are aligned with Viva’s values and policies
- Work with the Merchandising leadership team to develop and implement category strategies and lead significant procurement activities where relevant
- Be involved in setting and participating in regular reviews of KPI’s for key contracts to ensure optimisation of contract value

**About you and your skills**:
You are a strong Procurement Leader, ideally with previous involvement with the setup and implementation of Contract Management software in a commercial environment.

You’ll also have:

- Ability to form and lead a team ensuring that the highest levels professional conduct and communication are achieved
- Working knowledge of strategic sourcing concepts and methodologies
- Proven negotiation skills
- Ability to accurately read, interpret, develop and negotiate terms and conditions of contracts
