**The Role**:
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that reduce commercial risk, deliver value, and drive service improvement across the IT category. This role involves managing supplier consolidation, efficiency, and price reduction initiatives to achieve the best outcomes for the business.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage, lead, and deliver successful competitive market engagement events (e.g., RFI, RFP).
- Develop, negotiate, and execute commercial and contract agreements across categories.
- Develop sourcing strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
- Provide procurement guidance to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with internal procurement policies and processes.
- Drive organisational change by challenging existing arrangements, optimising costs and processes to maximise benefits from vendor relationships.
- Achieve savings targets through competitive contract sourcing, process efficiencies, and vendor contract management.
- Perform risk management and handle commercial disputes/escalations related to contracts and agreements.
**About You**:
- Previous experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of IT sourcing requirements.
- Ability to work both autonomously and comfortable working remotely.
- Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills.
- Strong organisation, problem-solving and time management skills.
- Highly motivated with a strategic mindset
