**About the role**:
Provide leadership, support and guidance in all aspects of building services management to Regional Building Team to achieve business plan objectives and project deliverables.

**Role - Responsibilities**

Provide functional leadership to building services roles within Region’s Building Team.

Interface with Business Groups to ensure consistency of approach to building services delivery.

Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors.

Develop strategies which support and enhance the business plans of the Region.

Liaise with prospective clients, suppliers and subcontractors to identify potential opportunities and partnerships.

Input into building services design processes on prospective and current projects to enhance design and delivery strategies.

Monitor progress of building services works on existing projects, including through design, procurement, delivery and commissioning.

Cultivate culture of delivering best practice, meeting client needs (internal and external), and proactive management of risk, SQE and sustainability.

Provide technical support to the Region Building Manager, Project Managers and Project teams.

Participate in the identification and selection of consultants, subcontractors and suppliers related to building services.

Identify, develop and implement technical innovation opportunities.

Perform all duties in accordance with John Holland policies, processes, systems, reporting and procedures.

**Preferred Qualifications & Experience**:

- **Specialist Trade qualification or Tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or plumbing.**:

- **Demonstrated 10+ years site-based experience with a Tier 1/2 head contractor in Australia.**
