Join our Hoisting Business Line as Operations Manager (encompassing engineering and services) where you will be leading the delivery organization across the Australian market, with full accountability of running the day-to

**Your responsibilities**:

- Ensuring Orders to Cash cycle is optimized and realized as a key priority
- Contributing along with the hoisting team to new strategies to grow our offering and deliver services and projects efficiently. Executing a customer-focused Service and Operations growth strategy for the LBL, derived from the overall Business Line. Accountable for its relentless execution
- Implementing and sponsoring Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and all other business compliance standards and regulations across all QO functions of the LBL
- Implementing agreed delivery and performance standards to ensure consistency in quality and customer satisfaction to drive a high NPS. Responsible for Quality assurance, Quality control and for the implementation of an integrated quality management system for the LBL and deliver COGS savings and all other Financial performance KPIs for the LBL
- Managing service contracts for hoisting customers across Australia and look for ways to improve efficiency across spare parts, reactive, proactive and digital services
- Guiding, coaching, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates. Accountable that all LBL QO functions are properly organized, staffed and directed
- Responsible to develop talent, review organizational effectiveness, performing competence assessments and continuous skill-upgrades across the LBL. Improves service availability and capability
- Providing monthly forecast and report of LBL project and service performance, including but not limited to HSE, Financials, Operations, Growth Plans, T5QI, Relex;
- Accountable for a sustainable and effective End to End (E2E) value-chain for the LBL, from Customer to Supplier and from Order to Delivery (Products, Projects & Service) and delivering LBL RELEX KPIs in line with ABB expectations
- Responsible to champion a culture of Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement across the organization and deploy BL manufacturing technology and engineering process standards for the BL

**Your background**:

- Prior technical experience with complex engineering projects, such as hoists/winders or materials handling technologies, are highly desirable
- Undergraduate engineering degree or similar technical qualification and/or equivalent experience
- Active RPEQ registration would be highly desirable
- Preferably Functional Safety Certified.
- Prior experience as a manager or team leader
- 5+ years’ experience in the mining industry preferred
- Preferably prior experience working closely with customers, such as field service engineering, sales or project management
- Strong interpersonal communications skills for developing strong relationships and managing internal and external conflict
- Proficient in the English language
