Supply Chain Planning Manager, Anz

As a part of the Supply Chain team at Bayer, you will get the opportunity of be part of a creating the future of supply chain. You will be part of the Senior Country Leadership Team and lead Planning topics. With a strong focus on collaboration and integration, you will get the opportunity to develop your skills and live your passion in this role. You will implement Bayer’s strategy in this space and be effective in execution of services as well as continuous process improvement and effective change management.

Reporting into the Head of Supply Chain & Customer Operations, you will be part of the SCLT team along with Customer Operations and Logistics managers. As we continue to drive efficiency in our processes, you will be pivotal in engaging new ways of working.

**_ Do something that moves you._**:

- Lead the ANZ end-to-end planning team, creating and maintaining a highly effective and collaborative culture.
- Lead Sales & Operation Planning (S&OP) cycle by balancing demand and supply. At Bayer, S&OP is based on the 5-step process comprising elements of Demand, Supply & Reconciliation. This requires strong collaboration with Global and local stakeholders and requires capability to influence beyond hierarchy.
- Continuously evolve local S&OP best practise by implementing local initiatives and collaborating with regional and global business partners for process, system, culture enhancement. Train relevant planners and streamline processes to optimise S&OP excellence and drive process maturity.
- Act as a conduit between strategic and operational levels by translating LT decisions to concrete operational plan and escalating operational constraints for prompt decision making.
- Responsible for deliveries against key business metrics including customer service levels (Casefill rate, On-Time), inventory days of supply, write off, Forecast Accuracy/Bias (FCA/B) & Forecast Volume Error (FVE).
- Provide supply chain ownership of product launch and life cycle management including pruning.
- Spearhead strategic initiatives / projects from strategy, plan, and execution of high impact to both logístical & commercial excellence.

**_ Does this sound like you?_**:

- Substantial operational experience (8 - 10 years) in managing planning activities and/or end-to-end planning teams preferably in multi-national consumer goods or consumer health organization.
- Bachelors qualification in business, engineering or science disciplines.
- Experience of driving improvement in S&OP process and driving effectiveness of APO adoption.
- Knowledge of Digital Supply Chain and planning optimizer solutions (OMP, Kinaxis, etc.) a plus.
- An experienced people leader, who can guide a team through a changing environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong data analytical skills to deliver accurate reporting and drive improvements through data insights.
- Strong knowledge of Planning systems, such as SAP, SAP-APO a must.
- Experience in BI tools such as Tableu and PowerBi highly regarded.
