**Note Salary Band**: $127,467 - $152,958 + Super
An opportunity exists for an exceptional experience designer who is also familiar with UI design. You will lead the definition of a digital product's experience vision, design the interactions that bring the vision to life, and validate the desirability of digital products. You will be the ultimate champion of the customer, playing an integral role in delivering industry leading experiences.
- Lead, plan & deliver a human-centred design approach for new or improved digital products and services, conducting discovery research with customers, facilitating co-design sessions/workshops
- Take responsibility for the build and evolution of evidence-based customer stories, journeys, sketches, flows & prototypes, developing an experience vision and UX kit that enables product and project teams to undertake detailed design & development, strengthening customer empathy and centricity by all team members
- Collaborate with your Product Owner, key stakeholders, squad/project team, and the broader Digital Experience Design team, to shape the strategic direction of DoT's digital products built to the highest possible standard, meeting brand, government & accessibility standards and guidelines, plus working within sometimes challenging technical constraints
- Lead and provide support, direction, coaching and mentoring to our more junior digital experience designers

Qualifications and Experience
- Mastery of Human-Centred Design (HCD) & Design Thinking
- Experience managing the practice and performance of UX researchers and designers
- Mature experience in executive stakeholder management
- 5+ years working as a UX or Product Designer
- Proficiency in Figma for creating UX Design artefacts
