**Introduction**:
Primary Purpose of Job
To expand the talents, skills and behaviours of all team members across the Cater Care business.
Designed training with leadership, risk reduction, improving client and customer outcomes and Cater Care’s values in mind, this role is responsible for partnering with a range of stakeholders to ensure the delivery of Cater Care’s learning and development programs to its people.
Working closely with Operational Managers and Team members within the business, this role should have a strong understanding of the goals of the various business units, to facilitate training and development programs that align with these requirements.
**Description**:
Main deliverables required for this role
- Implement the learning and development strategy for Cater Care Group in partnership with the operational business
- Creation of Learning Materials
- Evaluation and continuous improvement of learning materials, delivery mechanisms and upskilling of stakeholders
- Partner with the Operations teams and other Group Support functions to facilitate business outcomes through sound learning delivery
- Record keeping, reporting and data analysis of learning and reporting dat
Essential technical skill sets
- Kitchen operations
- Contract Catering Operations experience
- Organisational Systems knowledge
- Instructional Design experience
- Facilitation and presenting skills
- Ability to manage projects that they are leading
**Skills and Experiences**:

Familiarity with the Google Suite (or ability to transfer skills from other Office Suites)
Experience with
- HRIS and employee management systems
**An advantage, but not essential, to have had exposure to**:
- Learning Management Systems and Reporting
- Time and Attendance
- Procurement systems
Work experience required
- Prior experience as a chef/cook and Operations role would be an advantage, as the role predominantly relies on this knowledge of operational hospitality. Similarly experience in a diverse Learning & Development or similar role, supporting learning initiatives across all levels of an organisation whilst secondary is also important.
Qualifications/Education requirements (please include essential and preferred)
- Qualification in Hospitality, which may be:
- Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery
- Trade Certification as a Chef
- Certificate IV Kitchen Operations
- Certificate IV qualification in Management or Hospitality (or above)
- Cert IV TAE or equivalent (desirable)
