**The Opportunity**:
This newly created senior leadership role, reporting to the General Manager of Transport, will provide our Depot leaders and their teams an increased level of support to drive and deliver performance and profitability of the Transport Depot Operations. With 8 direct reports (Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne Depot Managers and Regional Depot Managers), this is a great opportunity for the right person to develop their career whilst being strongly connected to daily operations. This role could be based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.

**_Key accountabilities include providing management, direction and guidance to Depot leadership teams to:_**
- Develop & sustain excellent operational discipline
- Undertake quality incident response & investigations
- Visibly lead safety & environmental management & QA compliance
- Manage, support, and grow the compatibility of their People (resource planning, retention, turnover, performance management, mentorship/development)
- Maintain loading, unloading & docking operations
- Control and manage Depot facilities, equipment & assets (including pallets)
- Meet DIFOT targets
- Manage overheads and associated costs (labour & non-labour)
- Be accountable for profit & loss financial analysis and budgeting
- Support operational business improvement initiatives
- Demonstrate behaviours that support the Values of the business
