Depot Hand/Store Person   

Roster: 12-month casual duration starting mid-September | Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.00pm

Location: Crestmead, QLD

Skills & Experience

  • Current Driver's Licence (Essential)
  • Forklift Licence (Essential)
  • Previous experience in warehousing, inventory, or logistics (preferably in a waste or industrial environment).
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and handling of hazardous materials.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with stock control software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to lift 25kg without assistance
  • Good work ethic
  • Ability to complete repetitive, mundane tasks
  • Commitment to safety
  • Self-motivated

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods and materials, including PPE and maintenance supplies.
  • Issue stock and equipment to operational teams as needed.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using stock management systems.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with procurement processes.
  • Ensure the storage area meets safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and assist with reporting related to material usage and waste tracking.
  • Move and store collection bins around depot
  • Decant waste oil/hydrocarbons from containers to ensure containers are available for weekly collection runs (3-4 hours a day)
