**Your responsibilities will include**:

- We're on the hunt for a diligent and motivated **Work Health & Safety Analyst** to join our team and contribute to our ongoing commitment to safety excellence.

**In this role, you'll**:

- ** Assist in WHS Compliance**: Collaborate with our experienced WHS team to ensure that our organisation adheres to all relevant legal requirements and best practices.
- ** Data Analysis & Reporting**:Collect, analyse, and interpret safety-related data to generate comprehensive reports and identify areas for improvement.
- ** Incident Investigations**: Assist in investigating workplace incidents, near-misses, and hazards, contributing to root cause analysis and preventive action planning.
- ** Support WHS Initiatives**: Contribute to the development and implementation of safety programs, policies, and procedures that promote a proactive safety culture.
- ** Stakeholder Engagement**: Work closely with employees, managers, and external partners to raise awareness of safety matters and facilitate cooperation in maintaining a safe work environment.
- ** Continuous Improvement**: Contribute to ongoing efforts to enhance our safety performance, staying abreast of industry developments and emerging best practices.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety, Safety Management, or a related field.
- Ideally, 1-2 years of experience in a WHS role.

**To be successful you will need the following attributes**:

- Strong communication skills including the ability to prepare and present oral and written reports, briefings, updates and other documentation to internal stakeholders
- Good learning aptitude with a willingness to constantly update knowledge in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently under general supervision as well as contribute in a professional team environment.

**Special Requirements**:

- Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
