**About the team**

The CEO Office is responsible for providing executive, administration, research and communication support to the CEO, Mayor and Councillors.

**About the role**

The Communications Officer works closely with the Senior Communications Officer and Executive Assistant to the CEO and is responsible for delivering high-quality communications, media, and marketing support across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include writing and designing content for digital and print platforms, managing media enquiries, supporting community engagement initiatives, and maintaining the Town’s website and social media presence. The role also plays a key part in upholding the Town’s brand and style, providing internal communications advice, and ensuring effective digital engagement through newsletters, campaigns, and analytics.

**Salary and Benefits**

This permanent part-time position attracts an annual salary of range $78,132 to $90,391 (plus superannuation) per annum pro-rata dependent on qualifications and experience.

The Town also offers up to 4% additional superannuation (conditions apply), 17.5% leave loading, free parking, ongoing training and professional development, and up to two additional leave days per calendar year.

**Working Hours**

The position is part-time, 38 hours per fortnight. Flexible start/finish times may be negotiated for this role.
