**Overview**:
**Your Role**

We are seeking a Team Leader for Administration to provide day-to-day management and technical expertise to the team, ensuring the delivery of cost effective, professional and customer-focused service, whilst developing staff and implementing quality initiatives.

This position will be offered on a permanent full-time basis and we offer a flexible hybrid approach of working in our Sydney CBD and Parramatta office and Working From Home (WFH). We also offer a 9 day fortnight working compressed hours across a fortnight.

**How you'll make an impact**:
**On a day to day basis you will**:

- Overseeing the performance of the team and ensuring KPI achievement to assist the business in meeting its performance needs according to client contract
- Identify skill gaps, create and deliver refresher training to address key areas and upskill staff and succession planning.
- Improve quality and processes across the team
- Manage daily workflow in order to maintain client service standards - Internal and External
- Responsible for the people leadership and management of the team
- Escalation point for the claims team on technical matters
- Build and develop external business relationships with the client and external network
- To maintain compliance standards in line with GB and client contractual requirements

**About you**:
**We are interested in hearing from people who have**:

- Demonstrated experience in the insurance industry with a background in directly managing a team within a Claims environment being highly desirable
- Exposure to or working knowledge of General Insurance
- Ability to build and develop business relationships with Clients and Service Provider
- High level interpersonal skills and solid team player attitude
- Proven experience in achieving business targets
- Strong coaching, mentoring and negotiation skills
- Experience in relationship building and stakeholder management
- Ability and desire to work as part of a team
