We are looking for a Rostering (Workforce Scheduling) and Administration officer to join us on a full-time capacity.
**Position Purpose**
The purpose of this role is to assist in the delivery of high quality, efficient support and coordination of clients’ in-home care roster as well as being the primary contact for any roster enquires.
Location: Cabramatta, NSW 2166
Job responsibilities:
- Implement basic rostering adjustments across the disability and aged care programs.
- Ensure resources and staff scheduling is balanced, equitable and logístically sound.
- Manage rescheduling day-to-day to cover unplanned changes in support worker’s availability.
- Act as the primary contact for any employee queries regarding their roster and leave /absences.
- Communicate with the Payroll Specialist to ensure that employee working shifts are accurate as assigned and completed.
- Frequently communicate with HR Coordinator about staff shortage to ensure client’s services should be delivered on due course in accordance with their service agreements.
- Prepare relevant rostering reports as required.
- Train staff to use the rostering app for timesheet recording and incident reporting.
- Other administrative tasks as required.
**Selection Criteria**
- Relevant vocational/tertiary qualifications in business administration, or commerce.
- Excellent spoken and written Cantonese skills are preferred.
- Excellent communication with different stakeholders to deliver services to clients.
- Proven experience in rostering or workforce scheduling in aged care and disability services is desirable.
- A self-starter, self-motivated person who can work independently but also within a team.
- A positive attitude to go the extra mile and an ability to work and interact with staff of all levels and display a high level of service orientation.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to result-orientation
- Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information.
