**About the role**
Our workforce is a combination of office and field-based staff working in metropolitan and regional sites across Australia. As the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Advisor, you will be responsible for implementing and managing the WH&S, Environment and Quality Management Systems for the Company.
**Skills & experience**
Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, you will also undertake various investigations, assessments and audits, data analysis, reporting, and implement corrective actions.
**Requirements**:
- Cert IV in Occupational Health and Safety or higher
- A broad knowledge of the relevant legislation relating to HSE (Acts and regulations, Codes of Practices)
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards
- Strong understanding and capability in hazard identification, risk assessment and controls
- Ability to conduct training, toolbox talks
- Internal Auditor qualification
- Incident/non-conformance investigation experience
- Ability to lead HSE initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain robust safety practices
- Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator experience
- High level of Microsoft Office suite of products, including SharePoint
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail Ability to travel interstate or to a site at short notice or as required
