Data Delivery Lead / Lead Customer Delivery Manager / Big Data Delivery Lead

200-230k + Super + Options

They are looking for a Data Delivery Lead / Lead Customer Delivery Engineer who has a passion for helping customers implement Data Virtualisation and is excited about working with a ground-breaking Product in the Big Data space.

You will be an experienced technical leader who would have successfully delivered Data Warehousing / Data projects in both a traditional Waterfall and Agile method.

The primary focus of the role initially will be ensuring the technical success of implementing their products on customer projects, but as the company grows, you will build a team capable of technically leading both direct customer engagements and implementations via Delivery Partners.

**Responsibilities**
- Customer Technical management - technical thought leadership, stakeholder & expectation management
- Technical team leadership for implementations across existing and new customers
- Liaise with customers and internal technical teams to assess the business impact that certain technical choices have.
- Develop enough knowledge of the bespoke solutions to become a Champion for their data virtualisation platform both internally and externally
- Drive future product enhancements through the Zetaris Engineering team
- Establish best practice Zetaris Technical Implementation Standards & frameworks
- Responsible for upskilling and teaching your team new and emerging technologies.

**Attributes**
- You will have 10+ years of experience in IT Delivery Services role
- Significant Domain expertise in data & system integration, big data engineering programming languages, architecture frameworks and commercial/open-source solutions
- Experience working with Java/Spark and Scala/ SQL
- 3+ experience in leading data engineering teams and expertise in developing large-scale data processing capabilities.
- Experience of working in an Agile environment
- A passion to deliver high value outcomes for customers
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- A complex problem-solving ability - across both technical and people domains
- An ability to work with tight deadlines in a dynamic environment, delivering high quality outputs with strong attention to detail
- Combination of an engineering mindset, people leadership and solution delivery skills
