Estate Management (EM) is one of the largest non-academic units at UNSW, providing campus master planning, infrastructure planning, development, construction, refurbishment, maintenance, security, and environmental management to the Faculties & Divisions. The EM unit manages over 200 buildings and employs 150+ staff, across asset management, property development, property management, facilities management, sustainability, security & traffic management.

**The Opportunity**
We have a unique opportunity for an ‘Estate Management Business Partner’ (EMBP), to join the EM unit based in Kensington (Eastern Suburbs of Sydney). Employed directly by the University, working full-time hours on a 3-year fixed-term basis, which
- may_ be extended further. Reporting into the EM - Senior Business Partner who boasts a tenure of over 5yrs. This role has no direct reports.

**The Role**
As the EMBP you will be the intermediary between the entire EM unit and their customers (senior staff within the faculties and divisions), to understand the needs of each business unit and enabling business objectives through property and physical infrastructure solutions including space-planning, fit-outs and refurbishments.

You will be accountable for the effective service delivery of all EM services for staff across two large faculties, Engineering & Business Studies. The EBMP will focus on communication, engagement, solution development and relationship management to deliver high levels of consultation, and to warrant use of the university’s resources.

**Criteria**
To be considered you will:

- have at least 4 years’ experience working within; estate management, property management, facilities management or space planning
- boast excellent communication and relationship building skills
- have the ability to work independently, using creative thinking and strategic thinking to solve problems
