**About the role**:

- Queensland Rail is seeking a talented Rail Safety Accreditation Coordinator to join our growing team on a three-year temporary full-time position at our Brisbane location.
- This exciting and important role sits within the Rail Safety & Accreditation team, which is part of the Major Projects, System Integration and Assurance (SIA) group. You will work on major projects, like Cross River Rail, ETCS Level 2 signalling and The Wave. These projects will result in significant changes to Queensland Rail’s railway configuration.
- Reporting to the Rail Safety & Accreditation Manager, you will join the team responsible for providing rail safety accreditation services to Queensland Rail and external project stakeholders. You will play a key role in ensuring that Queensland Rail’s major projects meet regulatory obligations, providing a safe railway.

- Establishing rail safety requirements for project delivery and outcomes.
- Informing the Office of the National Rail Safety Regulator (ONRSR) of changes to the railway.
- Maintaining safety interfaces through collaboration with other Rail Transport Operators.
- Supporting assurance processes to promote improvement opportunities.
