**About the role**
Council is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic worker to join their Field Services team as Field Worker (Open Space).
If you are passionate about working outdoors and have experience with maintaining turf and garden areas, you will enjoy this role. Responsibilities will include operating machinery and undertaking detailed maintenance of garden and turf areas in the many parks and reserves across the city.

**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current C Class Driver Licence
- General Safety Induction (Construction Industry) card
- FIT Testing for respiratory protection equipment: workers must pass a respirator fit test before they first start wearing a tight-fitting respirator and at regular intervals during their employment. Workers must be clean shaven or only have facial hair that doesn't interfere with the fitting surfaces and the valve of the respirator
- Q Fever immunisation will be required upon commencement
- Current MR Class Driver Licence and Certificate II in Horticulture or relevant experience is desirable
