Our focus is on building a world-class Technology team that will shape the future of technology for ATCO in Australia. This role will report into the General Manager, Technology, ATCO Australia.

**About the role**
- Oversee the strategy, design, implementation, and maintenance of ATCO’s network, IT cloud and on premise infrastructure plus end user compute services in Australia to meet business goals and architecture guardrails.
- Ensure 24 x 7 availability of robust, reliable, scalable and secure IT services that meets business needs.
- Lead the Technology Platforms teams, supporting and enabling a DevOps delivery model with a focus on innovation and improvement.
- Cultivate strong supplier relationships with Managed Service Provider and other suppliers for optimal outcomes.
- Design and implement security measures against internal and external threats.
- Optimise data centre and cloud operations for maximum uptime.
- Manage IT Operations budget, identifying cost-saving and optimisation opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, data security and privacy standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally for a cohesive and integrated IT environment.

**What we are looking for**
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust IT infrastructure for large enterprises.
- Proficient in Microsoft Azure Cloud services, leveraging cloud solutions for scalable and efficient operations.
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, server infrastructure, and virtualisation technologies.
- Experienced in leading a team to deliver complex initiatives, including enabling a DevOps delivery model.
- Experienced in managing a Managed Service Provider plus a diverse supplier landscape
- Implemented and managed security measures to safeguard IT infrastructure from internal and external threats.
- Understanding and experience in asset management and related industries
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to data security and privacy.
