As Communications Officer you’ll provide strategic and operational advice and support across a variety of business areas, designing and delivering audience focused communications that are easy to understand and accessible to all. We need your proven expertise and support to develop and deliver communications plans and campaigns across a range of channels and answer regular media enquiries.

With a dispersed workforce of over 500 people and 60 business areas, it’s a unique role giving you broad exposure across a myriad of sectors. Your work days will be varied with no two days the same - from researching and writing an engaging media release to filming, editing and sharing a video on social media to promote the many Council services.

These exciting roles are part of our Communications Team within the broader Communications and Customer Experience Section.

**Please Note**: For the purpose of recruitment, the title of **Communications Officer** has been used to reflect the equivalent industry title. Internally the official title of this position is **Communications Business Partner**.
