**Your new role**

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled School Manager to join the leadership team. As the School Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a school within the University, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing a team of 10 as well as providing strategic planning and operational business oversight.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the school in line with the University's overall strategic objectives
- Manage the academic staff, administrative staff, and support staff within the school, providing leadership, guidance, and support as required
- Ensure that the school meets its targets and performance indicators, and that it complies with all relevant policies and regulations
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and external stakeholders
- Oversee the budget, resources, and facilities of the school, ensuring that they are used efficiently and effectively
- Manage the delivery of academic programs within the school, ensuring that they are of a high standard and meet the needs of students
- Identify opportunities for collaboration and partnerships within and outside the University and lead the development of new initiatives as required.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and/or experience and training in a large and complex organisation.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a university or similar educational institution
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation and review of strategic and operational plans, policies and procedures and a commitment to identify continuous improvement.
- Operational management experience across human, financial and infrastructure resources including proven success with team leadership and people management strategies.
- A commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
