**Analytics Leader**

**What can you expect?**

You will spearhead our growth by identifying new and existing business opportunities for small to large scale clients and presenting to stakeholders at the C-suite executive and Board level. This position will also see you coaching and leading team members on delivery of analytical projects and deliverables.

**We will count on you to**:

- Manage projects and deliver on client engagements. Types of projects include
- Actuarial reserving including developing IFRS 17 value proposition
- Capital modelling
- Loss modelling
- Limit validation reviews
- Risk finance optimization
- Captive and financial feasibility
- Technical pricing and strategic review of insurance program
- Lead and manage a team of consultants
- Identify opportunities and develop client value propositions to drive business outcomes
- Build advanced analytical models in programming languages such as R & Python.

**What you need to have**:

- Minimum 7 years of general insurance experience in an actuarial leadership position
- Must be a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia or equivalent qualification from other actuarial bodies
- Minimum 5 years of statutory reserving and Appointed Actuary experience. Long-tail reserving and/or Workers Compensation experience is highly preferred
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team mindset and collaborative approach to your work
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with external and internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
- Leadership experience within fast-paced working environment would be highly regarded.
