**About the role**

We are searching for dedicated and passionate care workers to join our teams throughout the Greater Brisbane area, in our residential aged care services and within homes.

Our Personal Care Workers are responsible for providing direct care to residents within our residential aged care facilities. Our Home Care Workers are responsible for providing home care clients with assistance, support and encouragement of independence to reside in their chosen community.

In both Care Worker roles, you will be responsible for:

- Providing personal care and physical and emotional support to residents and clients;
- Participate in the development and review of resident/client care plans;
- Maintain the personal dignity and privacy of all residents and clients;
- Report any changes, or complete tasks given by Service Coordinators/Registered or Enrolled Nurses;
- Providing social support to clients including travel and assisting with social outings, and assisting residents to and from activities.

As you carry out these tasks, you will be passionate about ensuring the personal care you provide is high quality and emits empathy, warmth and unconditional love.

Remuneration for this role is $22.94 - $26.74 per hour, dependant on role and commensurate with experience.

**About you**

We are looking for positive individuals that have a compassionate nature and love being around and caring for seniors. You will enjoy taking time to build relationships with clients and residents and understand the importance of taking the time to get to know them to provide the best possible care. You are a positive individual who works well with others, and always happy to support your team members.

Whilst qualifications for these positions would be advantageous, they are not required as our teams are dedicated to supporting you as you begin and continue your career with us.

To be suited to these positions, ideally you will have:

- Experience or passion in providing excellent customer service;
- Physical capacity to carry out required duties, including house and manual work;
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support, not a requirement;
- Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including morning, afternoons and night across a 7-day roster;
- Current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain;
- Physical capacity to carry out the duties required, including house & manual work;
- For Home Care Worker roles - a current driver’s licence and fully insured and reliable vehicle for work purposes.
