Our projects are diverse ranging from start-ups, complex electro-mechanical devices in a wide range of industries and medical projects.

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Designer. You will find yourself working alongside world leading research agencies helping to translate technologies into innovative products in healthcare, sustainability, consumer goods and technology driven projects.

Our team is highly creative and passionate about the work we produce, and our workplace is collaborative, flexible and supportive.
- 4 + years of experience in product design/engineering within commercial or consulting environments creating innovative concepts and solutions.
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken - English) with experience running client meetings.
- Relevant degree or at least 5 years’ experience in the absence of a degree.
- Be collaborative and willing to work well in a team.
- Sound knowledge of engineering concepts: Static loads, strength of materials, material science.
- Experience with FEA and engineering principles is an advantage.
- Experience in 3D CAD (Solidworks or Creo) to create parts and assemblies with integrated electronics.
- A sound understanding of different manufacturing processes; injection moulding, casting and metal fabrication.
- Proven ability in product detailing from concept, prototyping to production - creating product drawings, BOM, coordinate prototyping, performance and quality verification, tooling, and part cost estimates/review.
- Medical device development and knowledge of ISO 13485 beneficial but not essential.
- An empathetic user advocate, with experience in translating user research and insights into compelling design solutions.

**This role is located in Sydney. You will be required to work from the office for the majority of every week.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $84,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
