**IKAD Engineering** is a proud Western Australian private company with a national and international footprint. We provide a broad range of Project Management and Engineering solutions across a wide variety of Industry Sectors including Defence, Industrial, Mining, Marine, Oil & Gas, and Water Technology.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating quality assurance programs and ensuring the quality control policies are effectively implemented across all business units. The following are also part of the job role;
- Ensure product quality is achieved in a timely and cost-effective way.
- Ensure IKAD’s HSEQ responsibilities are complied with.
- Conduct regular quality inspections as and when required.
- Conduct random Surveillance Audits across all business sectors.
- Ensure ITP compliance to IKAD Standards.
- Participate in development of ITP’s and JSEA’s for Marine projects.
- Evaluate quality and safety performance, recommend and report to identify issues and opportunities to improve ongoing performance.
- Interact within all organisational departments to ensure operations are completed effectively.
- Report and raise NCR’s and ensure closeout are with in a timely manner.
- Identifying, recording, reporting and following up on Minor and Major Non-Conformances.
- Conduct Protective Coating Inspections.
- Raise NDT requests and validate reports.
**What you will bring to the team;**
- Trade Qualified
- CSWIP 3.1 or AS1796 Cert 10 (minimum)
- Minimum 5 years industry experience as a QA /QC Inspector
- Be able to work with mínimal supervision and possess a high degree of autonomy
- Good knowledge of quality systems, policies and procedures
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to liaise with internal and external contacts at all levels.
- Excellent computer literacy including excel and quality reporting
- High level of Customer Services Skills.
- Ability to build and maintain business relationships with new and existing clients.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities, complex problem solving and work in high pressure situations.
- NACE Level 1 or 2
- Internal auditor (desirable)

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Rozelle NSW 2039: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
