**The opportunity**

The Royal Freemasons community is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Manager to join our team.

This role is accountable for the ongoing development and evaluation of all components of the quality and risk management system with key responsibilities and accountabilities including but not limited to:
**Key responsibilities include**
- Monitoring, reviewing, and evaluating quality systems to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement
- Establish and monitor quality procedures to meet all regulatory requirements
- Support the Senior Management team to identify and analyse data on identified indicators and areas of risk
- Lead set meetings on quality and compliance matters relating to your audit and reviews each month
- Assist with organisational policies and protocols ensuring compliance within the relevant legislation
- Supporting the Facility Manager and multidisciplinary team to identify and analyse data on identified indicators and areas of risk.
- Where gaps are identified create innovative solutions in collaboration with the site management and extended quality team which Facilitate mitigation strategies
- Provide advice and support to Residential Aged Care staff around Aged Care Quality Standards requirements, work alongside the teams assisting in the resident assessment process

**Qualifications, knowledge and experience required for the role**

Essential
- Tertiary Qualification or equivalent in relevant discipline
- Satisfactory NDIS workers screening clearance (includes a national police clearance) check prior to commencement of employment and every five (5) years

Desirable
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Registered Quality Assessor
- Successful completion of the Aged Care Quality Assessor’s Course

**Other requirements**
It is a mandatory requirement when working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Clearance or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of this role.

All Aged Care workers must be vaccinated against Covid-19 (3 vaccines) and are encouraged to receive the Flu-Vaccine, all successful applicants will be required to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination prior to commencement.
