**_Key requirements:_**
- _ Supports the strategic direction, planning and performance ensuring understanding of expectations and standards._
- _ Works collaboratively with management, staff and contractors to support the implementation of the Safety Management System_
- _ Provides advice to the Division on safety and health matters and through various communication means to assist personnel to meet their requirements outlined in the SMS._
- _ Undertakes project coordination, including the development, implementation and evaluation of OSH programs with the priority being the safety Milestone Program._
- _ Develops relevant communications in conjunction with the Corporate Communications Branch in relation to newsletter articles, OSH bulletins, and event management._
- _ Coordinates and assists with the functions of the OSH Committee, Safety and Health representatives and first aid officers._
- _ Coordinates and/or undertakes individual ergonomic assessments._

**_ Experience required:_**
- _ Relevant experience in OSH issues in an operational environment, including the ability to assist in provision of advice in the workplace._
- _ Possession of or progress towards a relevant tertiary qualification._
- _ Demonstrated experience interpreting and implementing contemporary Safety Management Systems and processes._
