**Job Opportunity: Support Staff for a Young Man in the Southern Suburbs**

Pearson Allied Health Services is a registered provider looking to expand our team to support a young man in the Southern Suburbs. With the family’s permission, we are seeking exceptional individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the life of a person with complex medical and behavioural needs.

**What You’ll Need**:

- Certificate III or IV in Disabilities (or extensive experience with a willingness to pursue formal qualifications)
- Physical strength and fitness
- Strong communication skills
- Common sense and practical problem-solving ability
- Reliability and commitment
- A proactive attitude—ready to jump in and support the family as needed
- Experience with individuals who have challenging behaviors and complex medical needs

**About the Client**:
Our client has a Positive Behaviour Support Plan (PBSP) with multiple restrictive practices and has various complex medical conditions. The family is seeking support and eventually would like to implement active overnight support.

**Pay Rates**:

- Weekdays: $41.76 per hour
- Saturdays: $63.81 per hour
- Sundays: $75.17 per hour
- Public Holidays: $91.88 per hour

**What We Offer**:

- Ongoing support with a mentor or family member by your side at all times
- Supervision, training, and guidance
- Monthly team meetings for feedback and collaboration

**Shifts Available**:

- Morning, Afternoon and Evenings
- Weekend and Public Holidays

**Licences/Certifications required**:

- First Aid Certification
- Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Child Safe Environments training
- Driver’s Licence

**Training Certificates required**:

- NDIS Orientation Module
- NDIS New worker induction Module
- NDIS Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals
- NDIS Supporting Effective Communication
