**About the role**
We have a permanent opportunity for a **Principal Contracts Administration** to join our Project Management team. You’ll be responsible in providing expertise, supervision, and support in contract administration in the role of Superintendent’s Representative on medium to large/complex infrastructure projects across WA. Based in Leederville, this role will be reporting to our Manager Contracts Administration.

**What the role will involve**
- Appointed by the Superintendent to fulfil the role of Superintendent’s Representative to administer three party commercial contracts.
- Appointed by the Principal to fulfil the role of Superintendent to administer three party commercial contracts or alternatively act on behalf of the Principal in the role of Principal’s Representative
- Facilitate the resolution of escalated contract administration and management issues
- Liaise with the Project Manager and the Design Manager/Design Consultant to ensure contractor requests for information are actioned within appropriate time frames to best protect the interests of the Principal
- Lead progress meetings with contractors and ensure that the Water Corporation’s OSH, environmental and quality policies, and procedures are communicated, understood and followed
- Review and monitor the implementation of OSH management plans, onsite construction Job Safety & Environmental Analysis (JSEA) documentation, Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs) end ensure compliance with the Construction Environment Management Framework (CEMF) and environmental approval conditions for the project
**Key skills and experience**
- Degree level qualification in engineering, construction law, quantity surveying, or relevant discipline and experience in contracts administration
- Extensive contract administration experience in Superintendent’s Representative and/or the Superintendent role managing contractual responsibilities on infrastructure projects
- Experience in preparing, negotiating and executing variations and extension of time claims
- Proven contract management and estimating experience in the delivery of large / complex infrastructure projects
