**Position Overview**:
The Talent team supports Axiom’s talent experience and plays an integral role in the overall success of the company and our ability to grow our talent and expand our business. As critical member of our wider team, you will source, recruit, and guide Axiom legal talent throughout their Axiom experience, ensuring lawyer skills are matched to exciting client opportunities. You will strategically partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, providing advice and guidance to ensure we are hiring the right legal talent population to meet the demand from Axiom’s clients, and presenting opportunities to our legal talent to ensure they have career enhancing opportunities available to them. **Responsibilities**:
- Talent Acquisition: Proactively source and recruit industry leading talent:
- Talent Management:
- Serve as primary partner for a group of ~25-40 legal professionals in defined legal practice area(s) to provide next-level Axiom client and Axiom Legal Talent experience.
- Accountable for the management of all legal professionals, from hire through retire, providing a best-in-class lawyer and client experience.
- Accountable for delivery against client requests for Talent, including the identification of relevant Talent, liaising with the Sales team and Client to ensure match, and successfully closing each engagement in tandem with Sales team.
- Identify legal talent to fulfill client opportunities within their practice area, working directly with the Sales team and clients as appropriate to drive and win deals, with a direct contribution to company revenue and growth.
- Develop a deep understanding of the skills, practice areas and industry experience across their specific legal practice area, including being an authority on the state of the legal
**Qualifications**:
- 4+ years full cycle recruiting experience within a recruiting agency/staffing firm or in-house for a company. Experience within the legal industry is beneficial but not required.
- Deep sense of urgency, pace and drive to ensure matching of our legal talent with the right client opportunities
- Poise, confidence, and gravitas to interact with highly experienced legal professionals.
- Ability to work in a team environment, organise and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, adapt quickly to changes and creatively problem solve.
- Excellent systems skills including Outlook, Excel and Word.
