Cross River Rail will transform the way we travel to, from and through Brisbane in the future. It will be a catalyst for 10 years of wider rail transformation across the whole of South East Queensland and it is already playing a key role in how we prepare for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Cross River Rail is a new 10.2km rail line including 5.9km of twin tunnels running under the Brisbane River and CBD. It includes the delivery of four new underground stations, two new above-ground stations, accessibility rebuilds for six stations, the construction of three new stations on the Gold Coast, and the introduction of a new world-class 'ETCS' signalling system.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and produce to specification, a range of print and digital publications including brochures, advertisements, presentations, multimedia, newsletters, banners, information flyers and templates and creative layouts in alignment with style guide.
- Interpret briefs from management and other DA teams, liaising with individuals to clarifying and refine requirements. Interpret, simplify and design maps for use in construction notifications and community engagement materials.
- Creating print ready graphics and desktop published documents for multiple purposes and clients.
- Liaising with and managing external agencies and contractors of design services and products, and monitor quality of work by external providers.
- Visit active construction sites to photograph or film activity or interviews, including participation in mandatory site safety training and certifications.
- Work outside of normal business hours including early starts or late nights, on weekends and public holidays will be required. A flexible roster will be negotiated in these instances.

**About You**:

- Demonstrated ability to design and produce a wide variety of communication materials in print and electronic formats in a fast-paced environment, via standard studio traffic management practices.
- Demonstrated experience in photography, graphic design, publishing and print/production processes and proficiency in Adobe Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Experience working with large format print and displays, including billboards, signage, and digital projection.
- Strong agile and organisational skills to manage multiple design tasks concurrently, meeting competing deadlines and adapt to requirement changes quickly.
- Ability to provide timely and creative design advice to management, team members or other Delivery Authority staff.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with individuals and groups from various disciplines at all levels.
