We currently have a great 12-month maximum term contract (parental leave cover) opportunity for an experienced **Content Strategy and Campaign Manager**. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Content, you will develop and manage the NRMA Membership team content strategies and campaigns to deliver a best-in-class content experience across web, app, print and social that is customer-centric while bringing to life the story of the NRMA that inspires members to journey more and engage with our program.
The role is based from our Sydney CBD and Sydney Olympic Park offices with the flexibility to work from home and sites across Australia as agreed and required for the role.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop, implement and embed NRMA membership’s content strategies alongside NRMA membership’s Content and Brand leadership
- Perform content audits or gap analyses to ensure the uniformity of content and its alignment with endorsed content strategies and business goals
- Work collaboratively with the wider content, brand, insights, marketing, digital, product and creative services teams to translate a broad range of aims and objectives into effective, measurable strategy and content plans
- Work closely with the member insights and data teams to ensure a customer-centric, data-driven approach to testing, measurement and refinement of content strategy to continually optimise and identify new content opportunities
- Work with content leadership to manage the SEO strategy and incorporate SEO insights into content plans and oversee NRMA membership’s content governance model.
- Partner with the sales teams across content and product areas to build content commercialisation strategies that are aligned to business goals and protect the company’s reputation
- Manage quarterly content planning and NRMA membership’s overarching content calendar to enable editorial calendars to align with agreed business goals
- Oversee the planning, delivery and reporting of key NRMA Membership content marketing campaigns to meet business goals and drive value for members
- Provide content briefs and ongoing campaign direction and collaborate with content creators and external vendors to produce effective content campaigns
- Measure, monitor and analyse campaigns and optimise campaign performance against defined metrics and success measures by leveraging insights and data
- Work with media team to look for PR opportunities to drive earned content opportunities including identifying trends and quick wins
- Develop and present content strategy and campaign reports to stakeholders and senior leadership.
**What You'll Bring**
- Degree qualifications in English, Journalism, Communication or Marketing (highly desirable not essential)
- At least 2 years’ experience in a content strategy role including planning, managing and measuring content marketing campaigns
- At least 5 years' experience in a content production, content marketing or publishing environment
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to drive change and gain support for initiatives
- Technology skills for updating websites or developing content architecture or integration of content into a website or platform
- Expert understanding of planning and publishing and marketing content across digital platforms with experience in social media platforms and their performance
- Keen data analysis skills with the ability to use GA and other digital content and marketing analytics tools
- Strategic reasoning skills with the ability to organize multiple details into a coherent campaign
- Expert written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create and present reports
- Proven organisational and project management skills with the ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Storytelling mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in content marketing and measurement.
