**What you’ll be working on**
Dedicated to driving the development and implementation of fleet management policies and procedures this role will provide support to the business ensuring key objectives and continuous improvements are achieved.
- Provide data analysis and sophisticated reporting to reflect that FedEx vehicles are serviced, maintained and presented to FedEx Corporate Standards, and kept to an optimum safe and roadworthy standard at all times.
- Provide data analysis and complex reporting around asset cost and BOD plan development.
- Deliver data analysis and advanced reporting for MX spend trends and ad hoc reports.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new and improved policies and procedures in relation to Fleet Management issues.
- Support all Stations within the region to identify and reduce costs associated with damage, unfair wear and tear, and abuse.
- Intrastate and interstate travel required occasionally

**What you'll bring to the team**:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or similar disciplines.
- Strong data analytics, visualization, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in dashboards & programming.
- Logical thinking and capable of articulating complex problems and solutions.
- Project management best practices certification is advantageous.
- Heavy vehicle maintenance experience an advantage.
- Driver’s license, minimum MR (medium rigid) class.
- Experience in developing, implementing and coordinating transport and/or logistics related projects.
- Extensive knowledge in all facets of fleet management operations and functions.
- Excellent negotiation skills
