The role:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic racing and sports lover to join our busy Sydney office as a Racing Trader. You will be able to use your analytical skills and passion for Australian racing in providing customers with an enjoyable wagering experience.

You will be involved in the risk management of Unibet trading books for Australian and International Thoroughbreds, Harness and Greyhound as well as client management/profiling. You will also drive the growth and overall revenue of the racing and sports desk.

Your main responsibilities include:

- Daily duties involve setup/creation of races and markets to be bet on, both present and future and ensure that data is presented accurately and expediently on all betting platforms
- Management/risk assessment of all Thoroughbred, Harness and Greyhound markets.
- Management of client activity and profiling of client list through review of ledgers and analysis of daily and weekly reports
- Trade and manage books in accordance with Unibet strategies to achieve budget/yield targets
- Gain a thorough understanding of key accounts/VIPs and their value to the business.
- We are looking for someone with the following skills, knowledge and experience:

- Should possess excellent understanding of basics and fundamentals of fixed odds trading, betting percentages etc, good numerical skills
- Have a genuine passion and knowledge of racing of all codes as well as sport.
- Excellent attention
- Keen eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and manage big workloads
- Ability to make quick decisions under pressure and evaluate risk
- Must have sound research skills

Working Conditions:

- Must be able to work weekends (either Saturday or Sunday or sometimes both), rotating rosters, weekly night shifts
- Work within a small team who cover trading, marketing and also tech minded.
