**Job Purpose**:
BTIG is seeking a junior / mid-level sales trader to support the senior sales trading team. This individual must be able to work in a high-pressure environment, multi-task, exercise sound decision making skills, and have a positive, 'can do' attitude.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Provide support to our team of sales traders assisting with client coverage duties.
- Reading research and assisting in the analysis of trade ideas.
- Assist in the compilation of the morning news and trade ideas, highlight key announcements and developments that will impact Asian trading day.
- Support sales traders in client coverage and begin to develop direct relationships with clients.
- Liaise with Back Office/Settlements regarding settlement issues.

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- 2-3 years experience in finance, banking, financial markets.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Keen interest in financial markets.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
