Contract opportunity for a Business Improvement Officer to work for Local Government
**Your new company**
You will work for a specialised Business Unit within a Local Government in the South Western region of Sydney.
**Your new role**
The role will support the unit leaders of a specific Business Unit to improve efficiencies through optimising processes, improving systems and reporting as well as planning capabilities. You will also be a key player in supporting the implementation of a continuous improvement mindset within the team.
In this role you will review the existing processes and provide recommendations to the leadership team to optimise these. You will also assist in process review, improvement and implementation of technology to implement efficiencies within processes.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience in process improvement, change management and implementation of processes and projects
- Demonstrated experience utilising technology to improve performance
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience using Excel to prepare reports and do statistical analysis
**What you'll get in return**
You will gain a 12-month contract with a high chance of extension, and you will earn a competitive hourly rate. You will be part of a supportive team and will enjoy a hybrid working arrangement.
